Current Home Heating Eligibility

Home Heating Eligibility for qualification

Current eligibility for home improvements are-

1- The property has no heating system present

(with or without available gas supply)

2- The property only has electric heating, such as storage heaters

(these must be 10+ years of age)

3- The property has gas fired central heating

(the boiler must be a non condenser)

Boiler Types

Gas fired condensing boiler
standard effiencey gas boiler

Condensing Boiler

NON - Condensing Boiler

Easiest way to distinguish between a condensing and a non condensing boiler is to look for the condensing pipe, this is normally
a
white plastic pipe found under the boiler
(marked with the red arrow).

Currently we can only replace NON - condensing boilers.

These also include Back Boilers, these are built into the chimney of a property, there will not be a physical boiler in the house
visually all you would see is a gas fire like the below

gas fired back boiler

If in doubt please email a picture of your current Boiler to

info@mtsenergysolutions.co.uk
and one of the team will advise if the appliance is eligible
